Karen has over 25 years of experience supporting and developing individuals and leaders in Fortune 50 organizations to reach their highest potential. Karen’s held progressive human resource roles where she consulted with mid-level and senior leaders across diverse lines of business to establish sustainable change. Her experience includes designing and facilitating global talent development programs; strengthening leadership team effectiveness; coaching executives to develop critical skills; assisting new and emerging leaders to integrate into organizations or assume broader positions; and conducting individual/team assessments.
Karen became a coach to focus on leadership development. Her clients are across the globe - from North and South America, Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Europe – and across multiple industries. Karen supports leaders by helping them create and champion the strategic vision, mission, and goals to meet the business imperatives.
She believes that through deep and thoughtful questioning, candid feedback, and constructive action steps, extremely successful personal and professional outcomes will result including enhancing executive presence, building engagement through influence, better stakeholder management, and navigating challenging personalities.
Karen is also an executive coach at Yale University School of Management Executive Education Program where she collaborates with participants from around the globe attending the Yale School of Management Women’s Leadership Program.
Karen holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from Mount Holyoke College. She received her Evidence Based Coaching certificate from Fielding Graduate University and her advanced leadership training and development through various corporate university programs including GE’s Crotonville, GrandMet/Pillsbury’s PDI’s Successful Leaders, and Prudential’s Excellence in Leadership.
She is active in her community and currently serves as the Vice President of Princeton Community Housing and she is an advisor for the Paul Robeson House of Princeton.
She and her husband have three young adults who are successfully forging their way into the world of accounting, finance, and journalism.
